When people hear Flinx Realty, they often think of off-plan properties, payment plans and handover dates, and honestly, we understand why. We have led with helping our investors enter the market at a lower entry barrier with off-plan.
A lot of the properties we introduce to the market are sold while construction is still underway. You get in early, choose your unit, follow the development and wait for the building to come to life, but here’s something you may not know:
Not every Flinx property requires you to wait for construction to finish.
Every once in a while, a fully completed unit becomes available for sale, and when it does, the buying experience is a little different.
The Property Is Already Standing
Imagine finding a property you like, and instead of looking at architectural renders and construction updates, you can simply say:
“I want to inspect it.”
You visit the property.
You walk through the actual apartment.
You see the finishing.
You look around the building.
You get a feel for the location.
You ask your questions.
And if everything checks out and you decide it is the right property for you, you can proceed with the purchase.
The building is already complete.
So, where do these properties come from?
This is where it gets interesting.
Some of the properties we sell are purchased by investors who understand our development cycle.
They buy into a project, hold their units as the development progresses and, when the time is right, decide to sell at a higher price from what they bought.
These are essentially flips.
And sometimes, those units come back onto the market as fully completed properties. This Properties sometimes never make it to the open market because our investors who understand the benefits snag them before they become public knowledge.
What this means for you is that you could find a Flinx property that has already gone through the entire journey from construction to completion, and you are coming in at the other end.
You aren’t buying a promise of what the building will become. It is already here.
Bristol Phase 1 and the Wells Projects are an example.
These are completed Flinx developments where some investors have bought at the foundation level and have sold back to us at completion. So, instead of waiting for construction to reach completion, a buyer looks at a fully completed project and makes their decisions based on what they see.
That’s a completely different experience from buying off-plan, and for some buyers, that’s exactly what they want.
Off-Plan Isn’t the Only Way to Buy From Flinx
There are generally two very different ways you can come across a Flinx property.
You can buy it early.
You choose your unit while the development is still being constructed: the corner apartments, the balconies, the bigger room.
This gives you the opportunity to enter at the development stage and follow the project as it progresses.
Or…
You can buy completed.
The building is already standing, the unit is already there, you inspect it,you make your decision and once the transaction is concluded, you take ownership.
